History
The Gasthof Lamm in Nauders, a hotel with tradition.
The Gasthof Lamm has been owned by our family since the 17th century, being warmly managed with family spirit. We have tried to sum up some important steps by searching old photographies:
- The hotel already appears on the 1st photography of Nauders which was taken in 1880.
- Around 1930, a detailed painting decorated the entrance to the restaurant
- Approximately 10 years later, around 1940, the restaurant was turned into a pastry shop combined with a "Jausenstation".
- In 1952, Hans and Anna Windischbauer took over the restaurant together with the small farm of Hans´s mother.
- After that, in the early 1980s the Gasthof was renovated and extended by us, Christine and Guy Cormier. In the mid 90s we constructed the children´s playing room as well as the exercise room. Then, in 2000 we have established our relaxation oasis, a great place to relax after a pleasant walking tour, a bike trip or an exicting skiing day.
- Our latest improvement was the renovation of the outside terrace with barbecue and open air dining area on warm summer days. Also, our son Pascal who is a certified hiking guide invites you to hiking tours in the scenic surroundings of Nauders, or he supports you with your planning.
